I love the smell of grass when it was mowed recently, i love rainy days in the city, i love autumn, i love stepping onto crunchy leaves, i love the feeling of being tempted to just jump into some dirty and muddy puddle, i love seeing people smiling, i love dimples, i love simplicity, i love complications, i love how i observe people whilst waiting for a friend to arrive, i love to be early to an appointment so i can just wait in the room and immersing myself into the room's mood, i love strangers who smiles at me, i love the fact that i smile back to them too, i love freckles on nose, i love long legs, i love style, i love long train rides, especially on a rainy day, i love trams, and riding on them, i love dreaming of cities that i am killing to be able to live and work from, i love knowing that i will live in nyc for while, i love atmospheric moods, i love teaching people sign language, i love seeing them glowing right after they have signed out a sentence correctly, i love laughing with my friends, i love life's simple pleasures, i love to ponder, i love to dawdle, i love giving people nicknames, i love the word darling, i love it when my friends calls me my darling, i love taking photos of nothing, i love illustrating cinematic scenes in my mind, i love romanticism, i love being a hopeless romantic, i love being free, i love the way how certain people would stare at me, in a rather adoringly manner, i love my dad and his adventures and how he recites all of the to me, i love asking my dad about his travelings, i love how i am so similar to my mum but so different at times, i love photobooths, i love documenting events, i love films, i love the way how i am so picky, i love how i'd analyse every camera, rotations, acting, scenes and so on in films i watch, i love how i don't have any preferred category of film, i love photography, i love loving, i love how i am absolutely depending in certain situations, i love designing, i love drawing, i love shopping, i love magazines, i love how i am unusually content with my life, i love my friends, i love how i'd miss my friends dearly, just moments after seeing them, i love how i am consistently emotionally connected to characters in films, to an extent where i'd cry when i see them crying, i love tears of joy, i love day dreaming, i love long summer days, i love sleepless nights, i love wearing scarves, i love winterly breeze, i love traveling, i love walking to a convenience store nearby and realising i don't want to buy anything, i love how i purchase an insane amount of magazines in a go and end up never reading them, i love sitting in magnation and taking notes of photographer, models, designers, artists and illustrators name and google them when i get to home, i love melbourne, basically, everything and on top of everything, i love you, dearly.

this is a journal entry inspired by inkyoto's musing in his second paragraph in his latest entry.

Feeling Blue

This is what I am seeking for at the moment, not that I am depressed. It is just that I want something so, so, excruciatingly beautiful to sit by a window by myself, fiddling with something precious and gazing over the city in twilight and pondering about life's simple pleasures.

Only if there were someone could take me to the exact spot, I guess I will have to ask the photographer (Velco Dojcinovski).

Head Splitting

Sixth day today, of what seems to be an everlasting head-splitting headache. I've emptied some strips of panamax, nothing seems to work, even sleeping long hours, and consistently drinking waters, and eating meals correctly, and in timely manner.

But there is something quite strange right here, I am extremely productive! Been like that as of late, since the headaches started. I must admit, it is a horrifying thing, not really, perhaps!

And now it have been some months since I've last posted my entry, and i thought that was terrible, I should post into there more often since I have so many thoughts waiting to be written, and it is such a burden for them to be collecting dust, within my rather puny also small mind.

So, here we go, I am going to try my best and make at least an entry per week, and they may be visual, written, random entries just as long it is a bountiful entry.

An awesome friend of mine, who I got to know about through his older brother Khairul years ago and ended up being friends with him, and worked on various projects together and so on. He, Khairil just released his ever-so awesome new online portfolio at Uviv, please go check all of his works, each of them are mindblowing. His livejournal account can be found here.

The image you see above this bunch of blah is an ancient collaborative work between Khairil and I which never got released, but I shall make a change to this sometime soon and bust out a remixed version with our improved skills and show it to all of you, perhaps?

Is coming to an end, with the time being 11:23PM right now and what a day! I had Drawing Studio earlier today, from 8:30am till 1:30pm and it was awesome, we had a male model in, it didn't appealed me much at all but come on, it's a life drawing class, let's make the most of it, it's been long time since I've felt this relaxed while drawing away with these ever so soft willow charcoals, it was definitely awesome.

So yeah, I have Design Studio tomorrow at 9:00am till 12:00pm, should be AWESOMEFUN since it's design, what else! DUH-S-VILLE!

And oh, the ever so impeccable Karl Kwasny updated his portfolio, with some awesome & new works for mooks, funkrush, bobby dylan. Check it all here.

Not so long ago, I had a burning desire to make something so green, and I ended up doing it to my livejournal override, it looks good!? Doesn't it? And it runs right with the circly shit going on at my myspace profile, so yeah.

Eight Days

So, it has been eight days since my latest entry. I felt that this journal was certainly gathering some layers of dust, so that's how I've come to a conclusion that I am going to shake it off.

University is good and juicy so far, apart from the mind-numbing lectures, but these theoretical lectures with the ever-so jumpy Robert (the one with nifty bow-ties) is fun to watch, his hand gestures skills are quite impeccable.

Started the week on a fairly high note, 4 lectures first, and then the ending will be always sweet with all the hands on, practical work in computer lab, drawing studio and design studio. You can see all the units I am doing, and when in the week it is happening in my previous journal entry, with the timetable.

And um, I am currently working on a new website for UV Magazine - flashy one, in order to give ourselves a new image resulting in minor re branding, and new plans and approaches we are utilising. This commission with Gaetan Caputo the Photographer is awesome so far, the series are almost finished, and when they are published - will be sure to post the images to here, and maybe even photos of the magazine, printed and minted.

So, today they sent out an email to every single university students telling us that our allocations for timetable is out, and here's my timetable. Gäd Damnit, I am going to be so busy in first half of this year! Look at that DWG1301 Studio [300mins] I almost hyperventilated when I saw the minutes, three whopping hundreds minutes for a single class - Studio, I wonder what we will be doing, hopefully something interesting and enjoyable.

As of late I've been in constant search for photographers who work in a studio in majority, or work against simple+plain background.

Why? Because I have this dream project which I am itching to make it happen, it includes photography at their end, of course, they will take photos of models (males + females) striking some poses, or stuff and then they send it over the photos raw + unedited, then I will do the retouch and then print it out onto a3 or a2, whichever my budget allows. And then I will buy markers (white/black, it depends on the photo's backdrop, if it is dark, then I shall consider white, etc.) and then draw onto them, per sé.

Hopefully then I will be able to find a gallery space to exhibit them when I have a complete series, at least 5 images, or something. And I have some examples ready, the entries following this one is the examples of what I want to do, realistically because these were done digitally, by drawing into my sketchbook and then scan it and clean it up in photoshop and implement the swirls into the photo in photoshop, etc. I want to do it by my own hand, so the composition will be aewsome.

You are an amazing person for holding onto my name for sometime now and when the opportunity came, you let me know straight away through email that you have acquired a studio session and you want me to work on your photos afterwards and apologised in advance that you won't be available to pay because it is a free work for a Belgian magazine, but, again I don't care. An opportunity is an opportunity, nothing less.

And on a lighter note, Nigel Evan Dennis (electricheat) and I - we are collaborating for a cool project and after one whopping whole month of procrastinating, we are finally working on an actual piece.

Resignation

So, you see I have been working a lot as of late due to a number of projects I am participating and with university just around the corner. I've decided to resign from my Project Management position at one of world's biggest design portal - Cpluv.

Mainly due to personal reasons and conflict of interest because I am one of the founders at NTMY which is supposedly competing against certain portals, including Cpluv. When you stare into others eye and you know what they are thinking, and they are thinking the same and the moment ends up nicely with both catching eyes contact and smiling. I believe these moments are irreplaceable, do you agree?

And oh yeah speaking of these strange yet beautiful moments, there's the deja vu - do you love them, or not (if that's the case, tell me why). Well, deja vu is something that I've been a recipient of, at many occasions as of late and I am loving it for no particular reason if my mind is serving me correctly.

The Art of Sleeping

So, The Art of Sleeping is truly lost with my body clock - I've somehow subconsciously immersed myself into a devious sleeping hours - I am a person who doesn't sleep according to the time, instead he sleeps whenever he wants to, espcially when there is nothing like school, work (anything with a working/studying timetable).

I think it's terrible, I am going to defy myself this time and somehow deceive myself that I do have a timetable to be able to sleep accordingly. Excellent plan, uh huh?

Well, what I am looking for is advices on how to sleep accordingly, and what's the best duration for a busy seventeen years old to sleep through, night time of course but how long? That's always the question. The thing with me, I love asking why & how, I feel that I am obliged to know 'stuffs'.

Okay, that's all I had to spill!
